Silk Wrap Bracelet by Niyama Jewelry

I was recently sent a silk wrap bracelet by Michelle Marocco. This bracelet is the most versatile and comfortable piece of jewelry I own, hands down.The bracelet I was sent is made from hand dyed silk with faceted Emeralds, faceted Labradorite, faceted Sapphires and a diamond Ganesh charm.

The bracelet can be worn a variety of ways including a necklace, an anklet and as a wrap bracelet.

While the bracelet appears delicate its quite durable. They say you can wear it from yoga, to the shower and out for coffee afterwards. Its true. I’ve worn it ever since I put it on.

This is a high quality bracelet made with natural and beautiful semi precious materials. I love it because it has meaning and sentiment.

It can be worn with my yoga gear and it looks great. I can also easily wear it with a dress on my way to a meeting and it still looks great.

This is a great gift for a loved one or better yet, a great gift for yourself. Its a wear with everything item that you can’t go wrong with.

Please join us as we welcome jewelry artist Michelle Marocco. Michelle’s work first came to Cleveland via the excellent eye of Libby Steels (original owner of Juicy Lucy in Chagrin Falls.). As her work was being featured at a local boutique, a Saudi Arabian princess who was visiting Cleveland, saw her jewelry. She was so taken by the beauty and creativity of Michelle’s pieces that she flew her to Saudi Arabia to sell her pieces at a fundraiser during Ramadan. It was a huge success and provided Michelle with a trip of a lifetime.

Michelle will join us at during the December Art Walk, Sat. Dec.3, 1-6 p.m. She will be bringing more of her beautiful and unique prayer beads, diamonds, leathers and semi-precious stones. Buddha’s are a theme throughout her work , as are one-of-a-kind charms and talismans. She is a master at layering pieces so bring your favorites and she will help you select the perfect complementary piece.

Leigh’s Fashion Trunk Show

Reflections – Art Transforming Lives Auction

Transformation has been an ongoing theme in my life. The creative process has no beginning and no end. The consistent thread is the receptivity to change in any form. To not be restricted by labels gives one permission to explore the unknown and unforeseeable opportunities that are awakened each time we try something new. Approaching the day with this wonder and excitement is where the richest life changes begin. To enable a persons creative discovery is the greatest gift one can give. It is an honor to be part of VSA’s efforts in providing the power to ignite a spark of change in someone through Art. We who are already blessed to be on this path know, once ignited… the best is yet to come!

For over 30 years, VSA Indiana (VSAI) has been the statewide leader in serving people with disabilities through the arts. The organization was founded as “Arts Unlimiting” and since 1986 has been the state affiliate for VSA, an international program of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

New Niyama Diamond Earrings

Niyama means purification through self discipline, which includes the 8 limbs in the interpersonal journey of yoga.
I based the design on the number eight, borrowing the recognizable infinity symbol as the figure and incorporating outstretched arms in a seated meditation pose. All within a circle, symbolizing our oneness with each other and the universe.
